Hong Kong 2011

I think I need to build up a bit more courage photographing people. I'm always worried I'll get a reaction if I point a camera blatantly at someone.

lol, we never really plan our day until the morning, went back again today to get a pair of trainers i saw too. :)

I'm also like this, hence my earlier question to Ray regarding the disabled guy. I worry about a) what the person I'm taking a photograph of will think and b) what others think of me taking a photo of someone. I'd be especially worried about how I would make the disabled fella feel by taking his photograph.

I worry too much. :D
 
^exactly the same with me.

It's made worse by some situations I'm in. Some African countries I've been to, I feel bad taking photos in 'poorer' areas, walking around with a camera worth more money than some of them may see in their lifetime!

I've never been in that situation but I completely relate to what your saying.
 
some fantastic photography there, I'm just a young sparrow in comparison and only recently discovered how aperture and shutter speed affect the pictures I take, and still have not managed to achieve anything approaching your shots.
 
I don't know how you managed the pictures in the rain, I absolutely hate it when it rains in HK, its way too crowded for people to use umbrella's and add the fact I am above average height over there, i damn near get my eyes poked out every second!
