What's this 12.5k players pack all about..? :p It's tempting but sounds awful. 12 players, mostly gold, only 1 rare..

Playing in the EPL I'd assume he's more popular so maybe that explains his high price as his stats are quite **** compared to a lot of IF players, you could get 5 or 6 IF Klose's for the price of an IF Carroll and I know which I'd rather.
 
I need another CAM to go into my BBVA team, I was looking at Xavi but I think he may not be that good offensively judging him on his stats? Is it worth saving up the extra for Iniesta or are neither of them really worth the 50/60K and if not could someone recommend an alternative?

At CAM I already have Kaka, Aguero, UP Ozil and a converted Bojan who is just a reserve.

I just got a IF guy with 90 pace, he has nothing else and is usually an ST, but someone had him up for sale as a CAM, so he must have been converted.

he is worth 20K on PS3, i got him for like 5K, probably due to him being a CAM and nobody searching for him in that position.

Haven't used him yet, but if your playing with a wide CAM i think he will be a great option to have, if not, since he is an IF, he will be easy to shift on, UP Aguero is slow, his stats lie, he is slower than UP Ozil, even though in game stats and on card stats UP Aguero is much faster.

Aguero does have a great finesse shot on him though and is bit of an all rounder, but he is small so gets bullied very easily, he is extremely weak in the game, so i dont like him, im looking to replace with Kaka, and im hoping this IF guy does the job until i can get Kaka.
 
Ah. I just spent 20K or so on IF Borja Valero and IF Cani. I was looking at IF Reyes but for the price he hardly seems worth it and he'll only be a backup of Jesus Navas anyway.

can i see your team?

ive not been on UT much lately and Forlan is poor in the air so im definitely switching him to right ST, I now need a target man.

Kanoute, Lorrente or Adebayor? any others? is there someone like Cavani/Milito in Liga BBVA?

Forlan can do diving headers but any other type of header is complete fail.

Yeah sure. I think Higuain or Adebayor would be a good target man but this is my first proper BBVA team so I dunno, I've just got Forlan and Benzema for now, Pique scores all my corners. Hah yeah Forlan isn't bad at diving headers but if there's someone marking him in the box he is a pretty epic failure in all honesty.

The consensus is that Llorrente is the best headerer in the game, not just in liga bbva, so he is the best target man for crosses in the game.

Kanoute is a little off Llorrente at headering but has better all round stats, so he is the Ibrahimovich of Liga BBVA and could be a good shout. (is there an IF version of him too?)

The best striker on a budget is Benzema, he can shoot from inside and outside the box, whereas forlan and higuain are mainly inside the box players. The only other player which can do this is Ronaldo. And David Villa is the best inside the box striker.

I currently have about 10K, Forlan, Higuain and UP Aguero(CAM).

I may already have a replacement for Aguero (some IF guy with 90 pace), so i can sell him, sell Forlan and sell Higuain, get in Llorrente and Benzema. this should leave me with 70K spare, for either Kaka or save up for Villa.

Decisions decisions.

that looks like a solid team, the only weak spot i see is your keeper, consensus is the taller the keeper the better he is. Valdes is small, look to replace with IF De Gea or someone tall and decent.

Thats why a lot of people like Buffon over Cesar, Buffon is 3 inches bigger, and you know what they say, size matters :D

I bought him just to keep costs down so I could spend elsewhere I'll have a look for De Gea when I win this 4K tourney.

i had to stop playing the higher priced tourneys - thats what all the freeze glitchers play.

had a blatant one last time on my first game, just turned the ps3 on and he tried to do it all match, i was 2-0 up and i just passed the ball back to my keeper and he never once tried to take the ball off my keeper, i never touched the controller for a full 60 minutes or something, whilst he constantly tried to freeze the game, little did he know the ref has to blow the whistle in order for the freeze to work.

comes to full time and ref blows whistle and guess what - instant freeze. i send the guy some messages, telling him im not going to quit and im off to play my xbox, he replys in german or dutch or something, at this point i know he didnt understand a word i sent him, i now then have a choice, quit (its my first game and i wanted to have more than 2 mins of playing) or leave my ps3 on and go to sleep (it was late), i waited 15 mins then quit.

never played it since (about 3 days ago).
 
Sonny there is an IF 86 kanoute out there for around 25k (xbox).

I have Llorrente in my squad and find him seriously lacking at his all round game which makes me use him as a sub mostly, I've not played him a lot mind so my impression may change on him. I just prefer my target men to be a bit more mobile.

Higuain is a good all rounder but I'm suspicious of his finish, it just doesn't seem very good.
I look forward to seeing who you settle on in the end.

liga bbva is cheap so long as you stay away from barcelona, but i dont like its defenders.

ive done a hybrid, i could only recommend the same for you.


Forlan -- Higuain

UP Aguero --- UP Ozil

Diarra - Assuncao

Evra - IF Mexes - UP Silva - Maicon

Cesar

now obviously that is way over your budget, but you get the point. if you do want to stick with liga bbva.


Lorrente and Benzema as 2 most effective cheap strikers.


Diarra and Zakora are the best cheapest CDM's.

That sucks. I hate playing people who can't play the game properly. I win and lose fairly, if I win I don't gloat or send them trash messages, if I lose I don't complain, I never try to injure players or slide after the whistle or just pass it between the CB's and the GK, can't stand people who use the freezing exploits either it's just pathetic.

The one where your squad has to be from the same league, Continental Cup, there's only 2 days left on it now. Yup it's online, the offline version is called Winner Takes All and it only pays 1K.
