URGENT! Friend stuck in London, can't get in contact....

Calling the police station is looking like literally the only option to check that he's safe tbh, can anyone think of anything else?

Step away from the phone.

As poster above said, what are you going to do, have the police check every tube station in London.
Stop being so melodramatic.

Problem sorted guys, finally got through to him and he's on a train to Colch atm.

Was freaking out a bit because I know what he'd be like, its also his first time in London by himself.

Cheers for the tips, and the lols :)

Yeah sorry guys, he's got no cash so another ticket is out of the question :(

My thought is because he is probably curled in an alley having a panic attack now, call a local police station and just let them know or something?

Why I posted here, wanted to know if it's a stupid idea or not :)

Calling the Police will not accomplish anything. All that will happen is that you will be told he is not a missing person yet, or that you are wasting their time.

Unless your friend is a child then he can look after himself I'm sure. He can either source another ticket, ring someone (like his Parents) or got to a Police Station himself.

Quit panicking and go to sleep, no doubt he will be home soon enough.

Looks like you should have more faith in your friend. :D

Friend on the way home.......lost his ticket.....now can't get in touch with him.

I have no car to go pick him up in, and don't know anyone who does, so was thinking of ringing a local police station and letting them know...

Why would you even think of ringing the Police?? They aren't a taxi service!

Are some people really so incabaple of sorting out simple propbelms themselves?

For reference:

Police: Been robbed/raped/burgled/danger of death
Ambulance: danger of death
Fire: House/car/you on fire

NOT

Police: Mate lost train ticket - can you search London for him pick him up and bring him home via a Mc'ds Drive Thru'
Ambulance: Splinter in finger, touch of flu, how long to cook a turkey for.
Fire: Window cleaning

:(:confused::(
