OK seem to have a gap, i like to watch an episode on my laptop before bed, but have run out of good series,

what i have liked that has now passed or on a break..

Sons of Anarchy
The shield
The Wire
The Sopranos
Breaking Bad
Lost, Heroes, 24 (the normals)
V
BSG
Boardwalk Empire

im currently watching the Event, which is ok'ish, but what else is there in 2011 (american or British viewing)

tried the westwing and madmen as they are highly rated, but not for me

Fringe was good up until the last season.
As for series, apart from the obvious ones like Dexter etc, I am about to start Carnivale, another HBO show. Another few I have watched/ am watching include X-Files, Californication, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, House, Generation Kill (a brilliant show, which is altogether neglected in these "Suggest a show to watch thread"), Oz, Rome, Twin Peaks, blah blah blah.
PS. If you are looking for something just plain childishly amusing, there is the Canadian show Trailer Park boys. Takes a while to get... suitably adjusted to it.
 
There's at least one of these threads every week. Perhaps it's time to make one huge thread?
