I wonder... Are all Scooby drivers are like this...

How many retired wrestlers have you questioned? ;)

Or are you just jumping to conclusions? :p

First line of my post says it all. Stereotypes :P

But my neighbour got married and sold his WRX and got a Liberty (Legacy) Wagon and has gone back to being a sane person.

I had the same thing happen to me earlier today but it was 4 lads in a modifyed Megan R26 trying to race me and cutting people up, waving their arms etc... i just let them carry on and laughed at them at the next set of lights. My Evo is running over 300+bhp i could have humiliated them if i wanted but did not want to stoop that low.

Had the same with an Impreza a few weeks back.

There's a scooby in my area that constantly tries to race me down the dual carriage way. He hasn't come close yet but he never stops trying. I'm tempted to just let him one day so he might quit it but it's too amusing at the moment. Sometimes I think scooby owners need to see they aren't the fastest on the road.

You see, I think this is the best thing about automatics. If you are being goaded by some chavs who are trying to race blah blah, in a manual you actually have to use effort if you want to keep up/win/whatever. In an automatic it's so little effort to go maximum beans that it's almost harder not to.

Yea - and most times they'll completely fluff 1st to 2nd, meaning you just steam on right by :D

Many a Ford Fiesta and Corsa lost out to my little automatic Triumph like that :D

It's hard not to jump to conclusions but whenever I see a scooby with a loud exhaust and a BoV I just think "chav". Wrong I know. I don't have anything against enthusiasts but I hate seeing the idiots drive around like it's a really uncommon car and they've made it in life because they forked out 5k for a battered WRX.

I personally wouldn't want to challenge him to fistycuffs...
