Welcome all to the first overclockers Ultimate Team Tournament for xbox 360. I'm sure you are all eager to win the golden engraved trophy so lets get down to business! :)

Rules of The Tournament:

-Individual player ratings can be a maximum rating of 83.

-2 players can be rated upto 86.

- Team sheets will consist of 11 starting players and 7 subs.

-No stat boosting cards are to be used.

-The league stage of the tounament consists of 1 home game, 1 away game. Use the play a friend feature of UT to set this up.

-In the League stage games will be played until the end of normal time, no ET or pens will be played and a draw will be recorded in the table.

-Top 4 teams go through to knockout playoffs (randomly drawn fixtures).

-1 Leg played for knockout rounds.

-In the knockout stage if after 90 mins the game is tied ET and pens will be played until a winner is found.

-Final home/away advantage to be drawn at random.

-League stage winner gets 20k.

-Knockout winner gets 40k and is crowned OCUK FIFA UT Champion Season One.

-Team sheets to be submitted to the forum on the 29th of April (friday). Submission only accepted via EA Sports share link.

-League to play over 30th April - 13th May.

-Fixtures to be recorded on the forum in the format Gamertag 1-0 Gamertag

K1LL - Did you change anything defensively in the 2nd one?

Forwards went completely missing compared to the 1st(half) game. Some utter head banging passing going on from De Rossi/Totti as well. Did my nut!

Nope I didn't change anything, first game was crazy lag, I thought if you hosted it may be better, I never normally have any lag, second game was better for the most part. :)
 
Milito ruining me like no other :(

Good games - Milito seems to be some sort of talismen! Not any other strikers i've played so far have just waltzed on through like that. I was raging that I didn't get another goal.

Off onto Borderlands for a bit fella.

nice work mate :), what happens if you DC and your up 4-0 or something, automatic loss ?

Do we have a problem with Cut backs or Ping pong passing from kickoff ?

whenever i play someone from ocuk i never ping pong pass from the start and i try not to cut back, just a little more respectfull.

I don't play like that ever regardless of opponent anyway.

And DCing it's down to the two users but usually I'd personally either replay a fresh or replay with the score when DC.
 
Don't think there was any ping pong passing and I don't think any of the goals over the two games we played were cutbacks either, not that I have a problem with cutback goals as they're scored in real life all the time.
 
think i am going to have to use my current team as i have no coins left due to unforeseen circumstances .


not sure what ping pong passing is but i do try not to score cut backs on here unless i got no other choice or they do it first.
 
ping pong passing is where from kickoff you just pass between your 2 strikers from the very start, goal within a minute of the game.

and yeh i dont have a prob with cutbacks, its a part of the game.

i dont have a problem with pinpong passing either, easily stopped if you know there coming, so im ready for them at every kickoff.
 
I'll only cutback in online tournies against randoms, cause I know they won't hesitate to do it to me!

Think a gentlemens agreement here would make it frowned upon, but allowed, so hopefully we won't see any of it!

yup, if im down 3-0 or something, i wont hesitate to cutback if i really need to, say if im on a mega angle i really am not going to just turn around, or blast it down back towards my goal.

i just wont be a bell and do 2 or 3 cutbacks in a game, and i wont if i really dont need to, just common courtesy i guess.

tbh i probably wont do a single one the whole tourney, i dont do them on online games much anyway. its just the ping pong passing that i do every game :p, but ill cut it out for this.
