There isn't proof that he existed. There is evidence, but there isn't proof. What the evidence actually shows is that by the middle of the 1st century there were people who said that they believed that he had existed (although none of them claimed to have ever seen him). That's it. It is not proof he existed. It's evidence, but it isn't proof.

Really?
There is a massive potential for this to be open to abuse, for example constructive criticism of a religion could end up being classed under it in the future. Especially due to some religions such as Islam who have a bad stance on Free speech,(here)

It should be down to common sense of people and not legislation. Limiting free speech is something not desired, the only type of laws should be Discrimination/Hate crime. This is what we should be aiming for, legislation should be far away from repressing any voice.
