I have noticed more and more recently quite a few people putting "look after kids" or some other tripe as their job.

I hope our troglodyte brethren don't really think that, although it may explain the undeserved sense of entitlement that many seem to have.

Edit: for those members saying "rofl facebook, facepalm etc", we all go on there, just in the same way we would all* give Britney Spears or Jordan the old in and out.

*obviously the gay members may not want.

Annoys me more when people add their friends in as mother, daughter, son, father, married to, etc;

No need for it and just makes them look silly imo.

This forum is not the mumsnet forum. OP, please tell your little story there.

lol my mother in law is like that, she's a useless woman who pretends to have a disability to get benefits and is always saying how looking after her kids was her career/job even thou she was drunk 90% of the time.

Yes I love my mother in law as you can tell

a) Dim
b) Being facetious

c) Has a clue

;)

I know the OP is generally speaking about people that are popping kids out and calling that a job. But there will be others that don't care enough for putting their true job down so put 'look after kids'. Especially helpful when talking to idiots like those on the internet, especially forums. ;)

Probably because most people who have a job with a big company are banned from putting their role on facebook, so you will only see people putting crap like that.
