Bullies force Emma Watson out of university.

Not necessary
I wasn't being vindictive (I re-read it, I can see how it comes across like that), sorry! Even if you had all the money in the world, the chances are they wouldn't take you, me or anyone here at OcUK (statistically). It just doesn't work like that and the calibre of their intake is so many leagues ahead of what we're used to it is quite hard to grasp.

You can't buy your way into the top Universities in America - you need to be an exceptional person.

An interesting fact: pupils who cannot afford the tuition fees to go to Harvard get it all paid for them, which are all more than covered by donations made to the University by alumni. Wouldn't t be cool if we had a philanthropy streak like that in this country?

Yet you still end every sentence with a comma. +1 state eduction!

On a serious note, no one ever said you didn't get through life 'quite fine'. You are being mocked for your under-appreciation of education for education's sake - to round a personality and broaden the mind.

Yeah my grammar is poor
Yeah my spelling is bad
Yeah i have dyslexia

All im saying is i didnt use my education to get where i am in life now.
I failed my GCSE'S I didnt go to school.
Basically i was in bad times through my school life, Drugs ECT......

Your right i dont appreciate education its never helped me.

BUT you tell me of a person with my background thats 23 year old and in a
40k job?

And no this isnt a ''worst look at my wage post ever''

My view on it is that ''in my case'' its not needed nor will it ever,
I view education as a possibility to higher your income.
No i dont view it as a new challenge but hey were all different

Meh, can't be as bad as it is for Matt Damon. Imagine how many times a week he has people go "Maaaaatt Daaaaamon!" at him.

A friend of a friend was working as an extra in a scene with Matt Damon - scene was outdoors and they weren't able to completely shut out all onlookers.

Mid way through scene - a member of the public shouts out 'Maaaaat Daaammmoooonnn'

I bet he gets really really sick and tired of it - but for everyone else IMO its still funny... :D

if they're constantly saying stuff like this in letures wouldn't the lecturer just get annoyed an tell them to GTFO of his class?

Brown was a poor choice of university. It's notoriously full of stuck up rich kids who've barely got two brain cells to rub together. She should have gone elsewhere.

Hah.

Not sour grapes my backside.

Why are you trying to justify yourself? It's not about you or wages whatsoever. Status anxiety much?

You're right - it is, but that doesn't mean that is the end of it.

Plus shes studying drama wont that help her to further her career in the acting world?
would she be doing drama if that wasnt the case?

It said on the other article that she left to pursue a course that the original university didn't offer. This sounds more likely because she could easily be bullied at any university so it's a bit of a risk changing like that for no real reason.
