I've been watching snooker for years but only yesterday noticed a small digital display attached to the table, just below where the rests sit. Looks like it has 3 or 4 numbers on it - any idea what this is for?

I was wondering the same thing - the number on it flickers between 49.9 and 50.0. Some suggested it might be the temperature but 50C is too hot and 50F too cold.

I think it's the coin meter. End of frame, the ref inserts 50p and gets the balls back out.

Judd was kicking ass yesterday. First session - 7-1. Dott is battling back but I can't see Judd losing this.

Gutted that cheat has knocked out Ronnie, I was hoping he would have enough to send him home. I really don't care who beats him. If he wins it will travesty for snooker.

Aaagh, it's almost one of the worst possible outcomes. I dislike John Higgins and Mark Williams and one of them is going to be in the final.

It'll have to be Judd Trump v John Higgins then.

I'm rooting for a Trump v Williams final now. Never really liked John Higgins and like him even less since he tried to cheat.
