It's so so so pathetic how desperate they are to make the opposition look bad. I have no doubt that if the positions were swapped, the same thing would have happened.

Although at least Labour are consistent - it's in keeping with their view that everything is racist/sexist/agist or discriminatory in some way.

If he had said "Ok, get back in the kitchen and make me a sandwich" - yes now that is sexist. Saying "calm down dear"? I don't understand what is sexist in any way about that statement? Calling her "dear"?

He has also used the "calm down dear" line before in the Commons - directing it at then Foreign Secretary David Miliband in 2007, while responding to a statement on Afghanistan being made by then PM Gordon Brown.

What irritates me more is John Bercow stating every single time that the public do not like the shouting and the ranting that goes on every single time. We do, it's part of what makes PMQs so engaging. Yes, we want to hear discussion and answers to real problems but we also like the banter between MPs.

but in reality we dont hear any answers because rarely does the PM actually answer the question directly, he generally skirts the issue or tries some lame attack on the opposition instead of actually providing what he was asked
