seriously :s whack a gtx 580 or a radeon 6990 in there and theres one of the most powerful gaming rigs you can ask for.. XD

Typically a workstation means a PC that's used for high end computation tasks, number crunching, coding, working with big datasets, graphics, audio - those kind of things. Most office PCs are not workstations

its not very stable at 4.5, i've dropped it down to 4.2 atm though cause i realised how hot i was getting it!

It's a lot of fun if you haven't tried it, the graphics are very simplistic and it creates a sort of infinite world for you, you can create pretty much anything you like, very popular atm

That's a damned good bundle right there. Pretty much matches my i7 970 workstation here but pips it with 16GB over my 12GB. Very glad 4GB sticks are now common and affordable. Makes overclocking with 16GB so much easier. Good work ocuk

Now just to wait for 6-core sandy/ivy and I'll be ordering a few of these bundles for a small renderfarm bump.

Maybe the bundle is for those office users to do some hard core gaming on their lunch breaks, assuming he/she brings their own graphics card into the mix.
