debadge ?

De badged the Volvo but you can still see the outline in the paint, even after polishing with a rotary, I assume mined faded with age (54) did you have any concerns?

I haven't yet, it looks ok atm but then I haven't washed it yet.

De-badging rarely looks good.

Normally I don't, I would definitely not have removed the Audi badge but like I said the A4 badge was wonky so that was the main reason I removed it

'Base' meant 'the noisy 4 pot one rather than the nice one they did'. I'd forgotten they did the even more terrible 1.9 TDI in the facelift A4.

If I had a 2.0 diesel I'd take the badge off as well :p

They offered it until the B8 (2008) facelift in the A4 and until 2009 in the A3. Despite the 2.0 also being available from 2003 people actually chose the 1.9 :o

Debating whether to de-bage mine..

I've already replaced the numberplate surround with a smaller one, and I'll take off the dealer sticker when I get round to claying.

Leave it alone, yours looks good. Maybe even black badges, that would be good too.

They look out of place in the picture as they've not been fitted properly.

I'd be asking why. Repaired rear end damage or something?
