It does look like a reasonably shallow scratch. A strong polish should fade it out at the very least. I just hope they don't do the same thing again in future.

I've had down to the metal removed in the past without paint, I dont think its that deep anyway, going off the pic

We park in numbered spaces which are numbered by plot number rather than house number so it could have been intended for the chap in number 8?

And yeah it's down to the metal in some parts. I doubt polish will help.

It just looks too personal to have been done at random, lets face it, you dont see ****'s scratched left right and centre every day of the week.
