Osama bin Laden is dead - no graphic/violent images.

Can I have some of that opium you are smoking? Millions? Where did you get that figure from?

This is good news to be sure. I guess that means the US can now withdraw from Afghanistan - mission accomplished right?

Why could they withdraw from Afghanistan? Al Qaeda has nothing to do with The Taliban. Bin Laden's Al Qaeda haven't made succeeded in a major attack against the US/Coalition for almost a decade. Their network has been massively disrupted, they have no money and little resources to plan an attack.
Can I have some of your opium please?

The death of Bin Laden is largely symbolic rather than having any real impact on the operational ability of al-Qaeda or it's affiliates.

I agree with this. The Death of Bin Laden is hugely 'Symbolic' for both sides(If sides is the most appropriate term) Will his death stop Al Qaeda in it's tracks ??? No. Does his death boost the moral of the people he wished to kill ??? Yes

We are probably no further along the road of reconciliation now than what we were 24 hours ago or ten years ago.

So the world police have been at it again, launching a military operation in a sovereign land without the knowledge or permission of Pakistan in all likelihood.

Its so his burial site can't be used as a memorial or monument they said down here

Better to return the body to the US and simply keep it on ice in a secret location. Dumping it at sea could just inflame Fundamental Jihadist rhetoric and actions.

Of course, we all know that there is no such thing as al-Qaeda, it's just an invention by the US Government to get us to rally round a common cause like drones? RITE GUYS?

Should have dragged his cold body behind a jeep while bashing it with sandals... That is the islamic traditional death for a controversial leader right?

TBH it was the right move dumping him at sea

There is no point arguing with old coal, the west is almost sways in the wrong according to him.

It will be interesting to see what pakistan say though :D

So we should be scared to retaliate against criminals and terrorists?

Bin Laden should have been stuffed and put in a museum as a testament to how pointless Al Q 'aims' are.

America launched an attack in a sovereign nation against the express rules of how America could operate inside Pakistan.

The agreement, as I understand it was that the CIA could operate within Pakistan but military operations were not sanctioned.

How did America get around this, by having Navy Seals seconded to the CIA.
