Osama bin Laden is dead - no graphic/violent images.

anyone who believes they would turn the cameras off is gullible.. no point taking helmet mounted cameras in the first place if they arent going to be used for anything importaint like the actual event....

did the seals defiantly have mounted helmet cameras?

for all we know they could have been watching live satelite feeds from above?

Guardian reporting there was no "firefight" - they come under some fire early on by the courier chap - they took him and his wife out and then none of the other guys were armed.

Seems they just popped holes into VGA cable guy, flowery bed guy etc as they saw fit.

Still.......you live by the sword die by the sword. Hard luck I say.

us special forces have used them in other raids

i cant believe they wouldnt have used them in the bin laden raid. they are probably a standard peice of kit for the majority of special forces around the world, they stream over a satelite link so theres no risk of the footage beeing taken off a dead solder

disapointed how now the president is saying a straight 'NO' to releasing pictures of the body. His excuse is 'i know its him 100% thats all you need to know''. GREAT - what about the inocent families that lost loved ones who want to see the body for sure?

A lot of people don't want to see a dead body plastered over news-papers though...

The only way they can release the pictures is by putting some injunction or something on the pictures so that news programs / newspapers etc can't print them

they dont need to be plastered over newspapers.. reuters has dead pictures of other people from the raid quite discreetly placed on there website where you cant just accidently see them... the same thing could be done with osama pictures.

out of curiosity how many newspapers printed the fake dead bin laden pic?

I don't think you understand what a shrine is.
or how evil some people are some videos of truly evil people doing truly evil acts have been released from terrorist groups in the middle east.
No idea but it was on a few TV news sites on television
cant really use it as an excuse then can they.

sad thing is people who google for dead bin laden stumble upon websites that shouldnt be allowed to be made they would be better off just releasing an official picture

it will basically be their new meka

It's Mecca.

And no they wouldn't make a shrine of a picture of a dead soldier, a shrine would be something to worship and respect.

I've been reading your posts in this thread and it's pretty clear you don't know your arse from your elbow and only post things like LOLObama!!! I hate Al Kieda !!!!
