What is your favourite "badass" animal?

Killer Whale, even made it more of my favourite animal with footage of it killing a Great White Shark, basically protected it's baby and owned the Shark.
 
Jellyfish aren't really badass, but they are right gits.
Not only do they sting you, they also make you **** on yourself! Grr.

Every time I hear about honey badgers I'm reminded of this and lol:

Must say the komodo dragon is kind of a dick. It bites its prey, poisoning them, and then just follows them around for up to two weeks before they get too weak to fight back.

I think the tardigrade, or water bear, is pretty badass, too. Okay it's not going to kill anyone, but killing it is a nigh impossibility. It can survive being heated to 150C, being put in a vacuum, being crushed under 1200 atmospheres of pressure, being dehydrated to the point where only 3% of its mass is water and it can survive just fine after being subjected to 500 times the radiation dose that would kill you.
