Hi, I am new to the forum_ hello!!
I would like some advice on selling my rig. I t is a couple of years old. I am not sure how much to put it on Ebay/gumtree for. Here are the specs:
*Thermaltake Armor case
*Asus P5N32 sli plus Mobo
*2 x 1gb Corsair Dominator ddr2
1 x 2gb Kingston Hyper ddr2
*Intel Extreme Q6850 3 ghz per core (never overclocked)
*2 x Palit Sonic 1GB GTX 460 in SLI (2048GB IN TOTAL) - these have a slightly faster clock speed than the others, same as GTX 470 or 480 I think.
*1 DVD WRITER
*1 DVD DRIVE
*500gb hdd
250gb hdd

Seasonic 900w psu
windows 7 professional

Any Advice appreciated
Cheers

Sorry dude.

Here's another question- I am thinking of upgrading, is it worth using the gtx460s and buliding a rig around them, or should I just sell the whole thing and start again with an i7 rig? I wouldn't mind a watercooled set up as there a few decent second hands one around.

Thans for any advice

Cheers

Thanks. I think that with my current set up, the CPU might be a bottle neck. What CPU & Mobo would you suggest upgrading to. (I was looking at the Rampage 2) Think I would need to upgrade to DDR3 memory too

Cheers

The motherboard supports symmetrical crossfire/sli at 8X/8X for both PCI-E slots.

The motherboard is also easy to overclock, just like the GD55 - http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2011/01/07/how-to-overclock-the-intel-core-i5-2500k/5

You have a killer PSU by the way:)
