Apple advertising works superbly on the majority of people.

Their products are very good too, if you disagree then it just shows that you know very little about technology and that you're just as bad as the Apple users many of you hate so much :)

Part of the problem, i can't be bothered faffing around with software hacks to make a phone useable and then doing it over and over as the new 'best thing evah' comes out.

I did root the 'frisco and having spent a day messing around with it and getting different bits in to fix errors and make it better than stock i just thought what is the point?

In the same way i dont overclock anymore, use OSX over windows - i am in it for the easy life these days!
 
I have an iPhone 4 and I chose it because there was, and still simply isn't, any other phone that can come close to providing the quality of user experience in the areas that I enjoy.

Simplicity for the busy person is what makes iphones sell, and why they have a higher price tag

And to the person about traking, didnt google do that too? and as soon as you sign into itunes on your username you agree to letting apple do whatever they want. Learn to read EULA's

Sounds boring, I thought one of men's common interests was tinkering obviously not. I guess we are seeing an end to that, everything has to be plastic wrapped so even the user's two year old can use it.

Actually you did agree for it to "track" you. In the terms and conditions. Also it's not really tracking it is a file for gps based apps to use, so when you boot it up it knows your location before gps locks on to a service. It has been in all iPhones. It is not sent back to apple. The only issue with it, was nothing to do with tracking, but how the file in iOS3 was encrypted but ios4 the file was moved and not encrypted. There was nothing illegal about it and of com as far as I know did not get involved. You may want to read some other sources rather than the media. It has even been published in iOS books years ago.

As for your mi5 and mi6 post your talking bs, it is not tracking you. You also agree to it in the terms and conditions which you agree to, when you plug the phone into iTunes to activate it.
You really have no idea what you are talking about and you certainly have not got advice from the people you say you have.

Hope you don't think everyone's like that, had my iPad on the train the other week.makes a 3 hour journey go super fast.p note ing to do with showing it off. It s a time waster, browsed the net, played a few games and watched usual suspects.
