I completely agree with this.
The software patents are just silly and suing Samsung because of a similar style is a joke.
Not to mention Samsung make most of the parts in the iPhone.
I'm sure that patent suit won't get far, otherwise it just opens up more rubbish.
Hell my fathers HTC Diamond looks very similar bar for some extra touch sensitive buttons around the main Circular one.

Bhavv, Apple are mostly upset because the Samsung Galaxy S is almost an exact copy of the iPhone 3G/S in many respects.
Samsung deserve suing for it because they were just lazy with designing it, they can do much better.

Now why don't you look at other companies and look at hpwho sues who. Reality everyone sues every one and everyone copies each other, as much as they can get away with.

I saw a picture once of which mobile manufacturer was suing who over what. It was incredible. Pretty much everyone is suing and being sued by everyone else.
Overpriced products + cheap labor = huge $$$

The thing with the samsung version, is it probably has the ability to have its memory expanded with a card, and the ability to change your Mp3's to ringtones\messagetones without the need for a PC\Mac!
