im pretty sure that isn't the official way of doing things, what if you then phoned amazon up saying where is my order? oh the driver says they left it behind your wheelie bin, well its not there now. driver gets sack most likely, unless his company has told him to do that.

they usually try to re deliver the next day or ask you for a suitable re-delivery time or come down to the depot and pick it up.

My original response was to the fact the letter pretty much states that they're going to announce something similar to us. That is one way to take the letter, is it not? I'm well aware that the only announcement in action is US.

I'M POINTING OUT THE LETTER SAYS WE'RE GETTING ANNOUNCEMENTS TOO.

Why would they put it in the same sentence as America are getting $1,000,000 cover. If all our announcement is going to be is "And European consumers are going to be scewed. lololol"

Use some common sense for christ sake. Does everything have to be spelt out to you

the latest update from official sony sites, said a few more days.

i know that could mean anything, but i was assuming less than a week. otherwise they should have said, at least a week. im pretty sure if it isnt up by friday they have no idea what so ever how long its going to take and is probably only half way done if that.

sony are the biggest trolls here, its been down how many days now? and still no ETA.

imagine if a sony supplier said to them, yeah your parts should be leaving here to get to your warehouse any day now and kept saying that every time they asked when they were getting the parts, im pretty sure they would switch suppliers.

There is no argument, the deal so far is for USA only, we have no idea what they will announce for the UK and others, seems easy to understand and have no idea why you failed to understand that and keep picking away as per usual :)

If you are aware its only US at the moment then what on earth are you trying to prove? As that is all I have said and you go round in a circle agreeing with what I said but making out I said something wrong, why don't you do us both a favour and don't respond :)

lol @ the troll word, revert to type by the usual member on here, I have said nothing at all that is trolling, just the facts as it stands that Sony's protection is USA only for the time being.
 
I cant wait until the future. Imagine being able to play against other people on games from all over the world on some giant interconnected network.

I enjoy reading posts like this as much as the ones that start with "go outside..." blah blah blah.

I like many others in this thread, own good PC's, play online games on PC's but prefer consoles for some other games. Myself, I play FIFA, cos on the PC it sucks.

sony dont have the money to fix the problem and the engineers they currently have dont have a clue how to do it.

sony are currently brokering a deal with microsoft to port live onto the ps3, it will be finalised on friday.

i just bought £20K worth of shares in xbox live, i suggest you do the same.
