Im thinking of getting one of these for the wife
Does anyone have a Tempur Pillow?
How do you rate it compared to the normal pillows ?
She is very fussy about her pillows and we go through about 4 a year because she cant find a happy meduim.
I need to know if they are worth the coin as they are uber silly expensive for what they are

They are just memory foam pillows, right?.

We use memory foam pillows at home, not Tempur ones though. However, they were not particularly expensive, got them on special offer somewhere iirc.

They give a nice supportive feel and feel quite different from a "normal" pillow. Some people have trouble getting used to them. I love them and now find it feels a bit strange and nowhere near as comfortable if I sleep in a bed with "normal" pillows.

I've got the curved ones in the spare bedroom and the "normal" ones in our room. I went for a firm one which in hindsight was a mistake as I've found it like resting my head on a rock, i'm hoping that it'll bed in. The curved ones are good though, you turn them around depending on whether you sleep on your back or side.

I prefer no pillow.

I quite often wake up with a really sore stiff neck, I've tried numerous pillows over the years but nothing has helped.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a contoured memory foam pillow, initially I was suprised how firm it was and found it wasn't particulary comfortable. However I've found I've slept well with it and haven't had any neck problems but its still early days.

I've tried generic memory foam pillows before and they were so-so. Last year we bought a kingsize Tempur matress and a couple of traditional shape Tempur pillows - they are amazing. Shop around and you might find them for around £60. I think the RRP is £100.

I've got a Dream Wizard:cool: it has an inflatable innard that you inflate, deflate to your own requirement. My head will be on it in approx 2 hrs once i'm done with this shift of the night.
