How sexist are you?

Just wondering we have quite a male dominated forum here so do you hold the belief or attitude that one sex is inherently superior to, more competent than, or more valuable than the other?

I work in a department that has 4 males and around 24 women (old ugly overweight women before any talk of smashing back doors in). The women are lazy, bitchy and some completely useless at the job. The lads are the only ones that knuckle down and get the work done, we have to do all the bad jobs, all the lifting etc. etc.. I've worked in this enviroment for several years and think it has made me despise women in the working world. Is it that bad everywhere?

Outside of work I'm not that bad but have girls who are friends who are just as bitchy. So I feel I am quite sexist.

Well they're also ugly, old and obese apparently... those are all be valid reasons why they bitch and moan as well as perform poorly.

Settle down, I'm not attacking you. Observations, nothing more.

I currently work with - and have previously worked with - females who are incredible achievers, great fun to be around, and bring a great deal to my team. I also work with, and have worked with, females who are dreadfully incompetent, are real misery guts and add little to the workplace.

Now, to answer your question, replace the word 'female' in my previous paragraph with the word 'male'. It still holds true.

So no, I'm not sexist. Women can be incredible, average or terrible. Men can also be incredible, average or terrible. Who knew?

I've always felt that there were a larger number terrible/incredible men per average man than there are for women, dunno if it's the dodgy y chromosome, women generally just being more adjusted or just me being a pig ignorant sexist. Probably the last part but eh I'm not here to impress anyone.
 
i dont think women should be in any active military role. this is not because of ability.

most men also
basically military should be cold ruthless and efficient.. if you can kill one person thwn you should be able to kill millions

I agree with you OP.

Although personally I believ women are good at somethings and men are good at somethings.

But overall I strongly believe in male dominance:cool:

Edit: Also women can't display the same level of humuor as men can ;). Women take everything too seriously :D

What would make a more interesting thread is if the sexists explained how their opinions work in their relationship with the wife/girlfriend.

It would also be interesting to see how many hold these views and are single.

I have a few women in my team and only very rarely do they play the female card. Never works though. E.g, being sent out to specific sites at night or clients that might be sexist. However, I draw NO distinctions nor do I care very much about gender. You want to same pay, same perks and same treatment? Do the same work then or GTFO.
 
Some of them are really annoying to work with, however many are great so I wouldn't tar everyone with the same brush. Maybe you're just unlucky.
