Aesthetics aside they are I am told utterly awesome barnstorming things. I need to have a run in that I think, one of the few modern Pork's i've not driven.

I havent driven a turbo but that one i borrowed was 4 wheel drive and drove great, fool proof same as a 911 turbo you know. Easy to drive fast. And of course come have a go you know that.

This would have been my choice from the start, congratulations.

Nice one cheers.

The more i look at that the less bad it looks, i think a lot of cars are having fat arse problems these days my Bentley has got a slightly dodgy back end from some angles too.

I like that, I must be the exception - I actually think its arse end looks ok - post some pics of the engine please. :)

I think they are pretty ugly, but by all accounts they ride well, look fantastic internally and the one youve bought will be nice and quick. That box is fantastic too, you'll love it.

Not sure it'd be my choice but its one of those youve gotta at least try :)

I just watched a Top gear where the Pan wooped the Aston and Maserati :D

I give under 90 for that, that means i can have 3 or 6 months free and money back so its worth a go to say iv had one, im not sure if i'd have been paying 99 OPC prices to do 10k in cold blood to try one though.

Nice deal, know you better than to think youve had overpaid for it :)

It's definitely turning out to be one of those cars where first impressions have started to wear off. I'm getting used to the shape nowadays, as I see a couple of them most days of the week, and slowly but surely my initial "urrgh" reaction has dulled. I was the same with the mkIV golf. I hated it for the first year after launch but it slowly grew on me and now I own one, even if I do actually hate most things about it apart from the looks :p

I know its too late now anyway but dark colours do deffo help these, theres a white one in Hatton Garden with stupid Khaan 22 inch wheels on it, it looks like a dogs dinner.

I think black or dark grey is a must on these.

I've never been in one and very rarely see them in the flesh but had a long and decent ride in the press demonstrator AM Rapide at VMAX awhile back and all the journos seem to agree the Panamera was better in most ways so in that sense definitely the right choice. Be very interesting to see how you compare it to the Bentley.

How much of an optional extra is the sound system? Burmeister is a nice change up from the Bose dross.

agree on the dark colours but think the dark blue looks great too (I'd have that with a light interior if I could)

See, this is where I think i'm a bit strange.

The 911 does nothing for me. None of them do. But for some reason, I really like the Panamera and the Carrera GT. But they're the only two Porsches I would ever own. :o

So you like 50% of the Porsche lineup of cars:D
