I see these when I stay next to the Porsche dealership in Guildford. In pictures they don't look great but in real life it's a great looking car.

I want a ride next time you're in Beckenham. Swap you a ride in the hotrod :D

Weird isn't it? The proportions etc all look fine in person, I'd be more than happy to own one - with a proper gearstick of course! :p

Just no point having a manual one of these defeats the whole object, that PDK box changes faster than you or me are ever going to anyway :)

I actually agree manual in a continent crusher like this is pointless. PDK would be best, good auto and good snick snicky snick when you want some.

See, this is where I think i'm a bit strange.

The 911 does nothing for me. None of them do. But for some reason, I really like the Panamera and the Carrera GT. But they're the only two Porsches I would ever own. :o

Not strange at all I've never like the 911 shape, but the Panamera just looks right imo.

Congrats on the purchase that really is a black beauty.

Had a brief go in a 3.0 Panamera and whilst not exactly a rocket ship was a nice thing to sit in and I liked the looks.

Bloomin huge though, such a long car.

Looks a good 'un :)

But in a few years when your ready the one to have is a 997 turbo, better in every way.

I don't know DM. I really like the look of old porsches, especially the one I've mentioned. However they're very expensive for what they are, so probably will have to miss it. :(

Its funny i always thought the 996's were a handsome car too, a lot of people didnt like the headlights, i never had a problem with them.

Was a passenger in one of these at a Porsche event last year, fantastic things, really comfy, was only the 3.6 one but it didn't half shift, best thing about it though was as DM said the interior, absolutely top notch and put together properly!
