Goodbye

Said goodbye to a girl who's been wasting my time for ages.
Said goodbye to my shed, and bought a shiny new car.
Said goodbye to a stone, struggling with more.
Saving up for a house deposit, but may never use it.
Bout it.

My lifes firmly in the hole, I'm slowly resenting my girlfriend of almost 5 years, I'm drinking more, losing faith in all but a few people, few people notice, fewer people care, know fine well I should speak to a doctor because I haven't slept more than an hour or two a night in the past 6 months yet still too much of a pussy to actually ask people capable of helping for help.

Not looking for sympathy but **** I wish I actually gave a damn. Sorry to stuff a dampener on the thread, this is a terrible year for me so far.

I've stopped buying anything like as much games or random junk food. Good start.

I've said goodbye to not exercising although struggling to remain interested in cardio!)

That's all so far...

I said goodbye to my crap job and complete ****wit of a boss, and now have a much better job working for the NHS. :)

Likewise.

Said goodbye to an old dead end job, was offered 2 new jobs and took the one with the best career prospects.

I don't bother with New Years Resolutions as I never stick to them :D

Had a pretty **** second semester at uni so trying to say goodbye to the girl that ****ed me over... who i'm living with next year... could be a toughie...

Coke. Not the fun stuff, the canned stuff. And truth be told I've not completely said good bye to it. Bit more.. See you later, call me.. I don't think anything is too bad in moderation though. I used to drink 4-6 cans a day retouching, now I don't drink any.. Maybe the odd one if there's nothing else about or with a Dominos pizza, tis about it! Don't even feel any better for it tbh, other than the slight sense that I'm doing my teeth and insides a huge favour.

Anyone else think 5UB was leaving the forum? :p

Yes, I thought that.

But it puzzled me that a Don of all people did not know this....

No "goodbye" threads
If you decide for whatever reason that you no longer wish to post here, that's fine, but you will not be permitted to post a "goodbye" thread.

Bang goes my chance to bleat about "One rule for us...." :o:D

As for the content of the thread, I've said goodbye to my GF - in terms of relationship / sleeping partners - but, & bear in mind I nearly lost her to cancer a while back - & thus, we remain great friends.:)

Giving up smoking failed (again) :o

On the plus side, I'm back on the weights - I want to see if I can get back to being able to press 1.5 x my body weight which I could ,a long time ago, do...... (I'm, 17 st now, I was around 13 back at the time, I have a LONG way to go. :o ) :)
