Tesco Returns Policy

I have some Super Noodles my daughter bought from Tesco, they taste awful, shall I return them?

Jesus! :p:rolleyes:

Just go to a different Tesco with the brand new ones and get them swapped?

Alternatively take the money from Game and accept a £18 loss, which is already pretty good considering the situations.

I'd just go to a different Tesco thou to be honest.

Tesco will now send the two 'faulty' games back to their supplier and also charge the supplier for doing so.

OP clearly has no qualms about ripping people off, I just hope that what goes around comeas around.

So returned it i tesco for two brand new sealed copies as they can't exchange it for anything but the original game if it's faulty. Paid £38.00 for it and have now blagged Game to swap it ad said I lost my receipt. However it's on offer at £29.99 and should be £40.00. Hmmphhh however Tesco returned my original receipt and never got mento sign anything when I exchanged the games so I suppose I could wait for a new assistant and go in an swap the games.

So you have now defrauded two companies.

Congratulations.

This is what piracy was made for. Crappy game dev company screws you out of £40, so get on bittorrent and get some compensation from them.

You know what, I do agree with this.

Paying full price for a game, getting ripped off on something completely crap, buggy and terrible and being unable to get it refunded is pure nonsense from a consumer POV.

Really it should be covered as not fit for purpose under the sale of goods act, but getting a refund is probably next to impossible on those grounds.

Should a game company make rubbish games and put them onto the market, and lots of consumers buy it, realize it is rubbish, return it at the developers expense and that developer then ends up going out of business, then YAY?

Isnt that how these kinds of things should work? EA probably still wouldnt be around, or anywhere near as big as they are if it was possible to return rubbish games for a refund because you didnt like them.

These days, game developers could literally sell a turd in their game box, but you wouldnt be allowed to return it if you bought it as long as it was advertised as containing a lump of turd.

me to i remember back when a pound shop were selling videos that HMV were selling for 15 quid lol..

i lost a few receipts that week

To be fair, I can see it from both sides. But I think i'm going to side with Shep here. Unless people do drastic things like this, developers won't stop releasing bug-riddled ****.

most cinemas you can get a refund if a movie is a turd and you walk out!

we lose more and more consumer rights with games going digital imo
