Not too sure on this picture, besides the banding in the sky and the dust spot, does it work?

I see what you mean, if i asked her to move to my right a step it would have come out a lot better.SwishSpencor - I'm really distracted by the window frame (?) on the left. Also, I'm not sure if this was meant but the lighting/shadowing behind the girl isn't quite central. If that was centrally behind her, it would definitely add to the photo
I get the idea, I just think it needs some polish![]()
I'm just starting out in this world and bought a Canon 550D. I plan on actually investing time into photography, and not just buying the camera just for the sake of having one.
They were all snapshotsI'm sorry, I find the first two just look like snapshots. The third, I get. I love the idea and I specially like repetition and symmetry in photos, but I think this photo is lacking something. Not 100% sure what would add to your photo but you nailed the idea!!
They were all snapshotsI was just trying to get my head around the exposure and all the different settings (I still am actually). I think my brother is still underdone in the first one after trying to fix it in Lightroom.
I think I would like the third one better if I could get square on and proper cropping but there are things in the way.
