I was going to ask what the difference is between the cheaper boards, so to save somebody else asking as I've looked on MSIs website...

C45 - 1 x PCIe 16 (no SLI / Crossfire), 3 x PCI
G45 - 2 x PCIe 16 (Crossfire), 2 x PCI
GD45 - 2 x PCIe 16 (Crossfire & SLI), 2 x PCI, 2 x eSATA

Though the ocuk page says the g45 supports crossfire & sli, but MSI say no

SLI N/A

I have the G45 and it does support SLI - someone's contacted them before about it, and it says SLI support on the board itself.

Sorry to ask silly question but which board is without onboard graphic ? is it P67 or H67 ?

P67 doesn't allow the use of onboard graphics but does allow overclocking on K series processors.

H67 allows the use of onboard graphics but no overclocking.

The new Z68 boards allow the use of onboard graphics (some of them) and allow overclocking on K series processors.

Thanks for some clearly explaining! I notice the top of the range board MSI big bang marshal had 12x USB 3.0 ports but no USB 2.0 ports ? (because of webcam, printer and usb external HDD only come with USB 2.0 support only) might not work with this board ?

The MSI specs say no, however it's actually written on the motherboard that it does SLI...

and I just read the rest of the topic.

USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible so you can plug a USB 2.0 device into a USB 3.0 port it will just work at USB 2.0 speeds.
