hard drive silent?

looking for something to cool and silent the vibrating of my hard disk looking for something like this. suggestions.

The 40mm fan will probably make more noise than the hard drive.

I don't know about cooling, but for vibrating, someone suggested a mod with a bungee chord which seems to work great.

I have done the same with my 3.5" drives in a CD rom bay, works wonders and it eliminates vibration.

It does look a little odd, but it is by far and away the best solution to hard drive noise. I've done the same to two of my hard drives that kept resonating and they're now totally silent. I don't even hear seek noises or anything like that, even if I shove my ear next to my case.
