GCSE's begin

I did English today. The fact that I have been fairly ill over the weekend and am still ill now (including diarrhoea) really didn't make matters much better. I swear I was hallucinating half way through too as the words just were all over the place lmao. Oh well, it's only English so a C or better will do be. Will be a shame to get less than what I did in my mocks though. (A, B)

Didn't go to too bad, did WJEC Paper 1, confident I got a B, didn't really stop writing throughout unlike normally, I can't help but panic in the evening before/morning/5 mins before and during though, I'm awful with exams.

Did my AQA English paper, confident I got atleast a B, although I laughed that some complete **** fainted during the exam, although not really surprised that of all the people it was him, he adores the attention...

And then I ****ed up the French exam in the afternoon, but you know what, **** it, I got all D's in my coursework so would have needed like an A* to get a decent grade, and I do Foundation French...

Ohh while it is in my head, am I the only person who isn't on study leave yet? My school starts study leave when we break up for half-term, however I will have done 8 of my 18 exams by then, so a tiny bit pointless...

Nope, our school don't break up for study leave 'till this Friday. Does seem pointless tbh, should have broken up last Friday.

Well i did my English early so didn't have that exam today.

I have tomorrow RE, Then English Literature next tuesday, Product Design 6th June, Maths 6th and 10th june, Media 13th june and then Geography 17th june...Thats me done :)

Not confident at all about Maths because i am awful. Everything else will be fine.

Just got back from the calculus exam.

The most incredibly evil thing I have ever done.

I finish year one on thursday next week, looks like I have a lot of work to do next year...

Did my English WJEC Paper 1 today.

I felt a bit sick in the morning and while I was reading the story. But when I started writing I felt kind of normal. Overall I think I did good I should get at least a B maybe scrape an A.

Just wondering, what do y'all think I should do next year for A2? I'm taking 5 subjects, maths, further maths, 3 sciences, should I drop biology for A2 or not? The school are encouraging me too but I'm on track for A's and A*'s so far, my only grades below A in the january exams were biology (resat the ISA - gone from C to A, resat the unit 1 test today, and it was really easy), and general studies (which was a B, I'm only taking it because my school requires it :(). The way I see it, if I drop biology at the end of this year, I end up with 4 A2's and AS biology, but more time to study my other subjects. If I don't drop it, I end up with a greater workload but 5 A-levels.

Edit: School are advising me to drop one, but I'm not following their advice, if I'd done that originally, I wouldn't have resat my biology tests and boosted myself by 2 grades.

What do you want to study at university?

Drop biology. It really sucks, at least the AQA course does. Chemistry sucks too (ocr salters)

I want to study medicine, and here I am telling you that chem and bio suck :o

All courses aren't the same though, are they? Do the school/college/whatever not choose different modules to do? The Biology page in my prospectus looks rather interesting...

Finished English paper 2:D I did ok, probably a B but my coursework is A* so it should pull me up.

I mentioned that the writer used parenthesis and I felt like a genius.
