Probably already been mentioned but I don't know where these crazy cults come from who give an exact date when the Bible clearly states no one knows. Seems its just to try and totally discredit Christianity as a whole, when it's in fact just a small group of nutters who are given so much limelight.

Well, afaik, revelations is very much in stages. I believe the most devout get 'taken up' first, and then the lessers, and so on and so on until you are left with a planet full of hitlers.

Surely you can see the hypocrisy in calling someone "crazy" or a "group of nutters" when you yourself hold views not at all disimilar? To be honest, the date itself is relatively unimportant, I would say that anyone that believes in the Rapture and Judgement Day would fall into the "equally crazy" category, they just haven't assigned a date.
