Hey guys,

Just switched my pc on this morning (recently built) and was greeted with this startup repair thing saying it couldnt start and now its checking the system for problems. Just wondering what this is all about? It offered to do a system restore but I'm not keen on that as I've only just got WOW all updated and installed all my email and office software.

Cheers for any help,

Jonny

most probably the PC didnt shut down properly, did you hold the power button down till the pc shut off last night? most of the time i get it if ive had to hard restart but its nothing to worry about unless the pc cant actually boot, but run a virus scan just incase its a virus screwing with your pc :)

Thanks mate, it mentioned something about peripherals and so I unplugged the mouse then it booted ha. My house mate was on it last night and she has a tendency to not shut things down properly so its quite possible.

Thanks for the help :)
