Can't wait to get rid of my FK452's this month, it's the last time i listen to anyone on the internet about buying tyres.
What the hell does performance have to do with wheel size?Kind of ridiculous if you ask me, wheel sizes on some cars are just getting way out of control.
I view 18s as being big enough personally, but here we have a pretty bog standard car
(320bhp only) on 20s!
Even exotics such as the 360 only came with 18s or 19s.
Our GT has 20" and I think it looks great.
Bit pricey though at £1000 for a full set of Goodyear RFTs![]()
Because the only reason to run larger rims is for bigger brakes, and wider wheels allowing for softer rubberWhat the hell does performance have to do with wheel size?
It's over 1800kg, so the power:weight is not that great reallyOnly 300+bhp lol.

I pay £16 to get 4 tyres fitted, £12 a corner is a rip!

The main reason to run larger wheels these days is for cosmetic reasons - whether you agree or not (I personally dont like enormous wheels and will be repacing the 19's on my next car with 18's) doesn't mean it isnt a reason.
Not through the twisties it won't be,It's still quicker than your thing.
I'm talking outside of "it looks bling, innit bruv" side of things and talking about purely practical reasons.
