An opinion can't be wrong. What a ridiculous thing to say. What is right and what is wrong is based on fact and fiction. Opinion is based on perception and somebody's perception can not be wrong.

Of course an opinion can be wrong, an opinion doesnt stroll too far down the path of fact and fiction.

Religion is an opinion on those criteria.

Thats the thing. An opinion is neither right nor wrong. But you cannot categorically call somebody elses opinion wrong. You can only try to counter that opinion with a more convincing argument until it is proved factually correct.

This is getting bogged down.

"Bebe is better than Bale"

Thats my opinion...........

Of course religious beliefs are based on an opinion!

That's like me saying to a Christian "I don't believe god exists" and them turning to me and saying "He does exist you're wrong" so I'd say "where's your proof he does exist?" to which they become stumped as usual and can't prove he/it does exist. It's their opinion as to whether the words of the bible are true or not.

I can't actually believe I am having to do this on a forum football page.

An average winger that made the "best right back in the world" look ridiculous. Go figure.

.

David Bently scored a hat trick against Manchester United once.

How does that work?

*edit*

He isnt even average, he is 180th in the premier league assists league with..............wait for it................................1

and the 35th highest scorer in the league, with a mind blowing 7.

;) stats are wonderful things.

No its simple

The onus is not on the believer.

"I believe God does not exist"

It is up to a believer to prove he does.

Its not my job to prove something DOESNT exist, by definition im right.

This is going waaaaaaaaaaay OT though!!!
