Is it me or are these the most frustrating things ever?

It took me a good 40 minutes to apply the latest one... each time I was ready to peel and apply, a random bit of dust would fall on the screen and I'd have wipe it again...

I ended up applying the protector in the bathroom whilst holding my breath as that seems to be the most dust-free environment at home. :(

I've only got 2 bubbles (and tiny ones at that) on my screen... and they bug the hell out of me!!.. keep wanting to pull it off and start again!, but I know I'll only make it worse!!..

The one I put on the Wife's phone, came off after 2 days!.. it was crap!.. looking for a better one at the mo!, but not looking forward to putting it on!..

Ah, I didnt think they would be, thanks. I would appreciate suggestions on good quality screen protectors

Mine is quite scratched and irritating to see the screen properly

You mustn't just apply in a bathroom, you need to steam it up first. Any dust will join with the vapour and settle on surfaces, leaving the air initially dust-free. Apply then, with everything closed, has worked fine for me the last 3 phones.

Great idea, thanks!

I disagree, I have used these with no problems for years. Only issue is my cackhandedness :D

The ones I got were Terrapin. I find that they scratch easily with nails, and also that that the touchscreen isn't as responsive or easy to slide my finger across with these.

Waiting on the other ones I ordered to arrive. Fingers crossed!

I'm looking into buying a screen protector for a Galaxy S2 I ordered. I'm not sure where to look. Let us know where you can find a decent one.

Tried a cheapo eBay job which was utter crap, so I put a Zagg Invisible Shield on my SGS after much recommendation from family and workmates - any smartphone I have from now on will have one of these going on it.

+1 for the Zagg. Have it on my galaxy s and it's great.

SGP Ultra Oleophobic is damn good, went on in seconds fits perfectly on my SGS2. No bubbles, very clear. Once you've used it awhile it doesn't feel any different to the gorrilla glass, it's actually hard to tell it's on there. I'll see what the long term scratch resistance is like, but so far I'm impressed. And I've tried the lot.

I have ordered the Maximum Cover ZAGG Invisible Shield for my Galaxy S II

The back of the Galaxy S II isn't smooth. Anyone know how the shield is going to fare on the back of the phone?

Where did you purchase it from?

Id have to Vote for Zagg shields all the way, they are on just about anything i've needed to protect, phone, ipods, ps3 etc. They aren't the easiest to fir, but the final results are worth it.

After a load of cheap crap ones, I just spent a bit extra on official HTC ones. Went on with no bubbles at all. Well worth the money.
