Well i've come across quite a few 'huge' PDF files over my time on the internet (latest one/s can be found here if you're interested) that i've been interested by and would definitely read, were it not for the fact that i can't read a 700 page document from a monitor without my eyes falling out, and printing it would just not be practical in terms of paper/ink/time/money/binding. So i was wondering if there's a cheap way of getting it printed and binded and/or converting it to something that could be read from a kindle. Cheers :)

Just googled 'PDF to kindle', looks like there are a few options available.

Looks like some newer kindles can read pdf files natively without conversion. I assume you dont have that functionality?

Don't know, i don't own one. I may be able to procure the use of one temporarily however :p

Can't you just put the PDF on the kindle?

With my Uni text books I CBA carrying them around each day so I just pointed iTunes to the PDF which synced it into iBooks and used my iPad.

Can something similar be applied such that I can read *.pdf files on the Kindle software? I have some pdf books up loaded in Android but it doesn't seem to read through Amazon's software.

Neither is there sadly a decent free and quick reader available. :/

Hmm my printing bill for this semester at uni was just short of £50. Thats around 1600 pages give or take. Policy documents make my eyes bleed trying to read them on a screen. So I print them out. That way they only make my brain melt.

I regularly print and bind massive documents (e.g., Wikipedia collections, textbooks etc.). Costs a couple of quid to bind, assuming free printing.

As above, eyes bleed reading on a screen, even kindle-y I've found.

a good one is to set the background page colour to a dark blue, much more comfortable to read.

as for printing take it to a local print shop,

actually your still in school use their printers.
