As has already been said, the game will be rated 18+ (I'm pretty sure all COD games have been already.) Anyone of that age should be able to appreciate it is just a game, and any parents foolishly buying it for their kids have only themselves to blame...

Yes, some people may see it as insensitive, in the same way some people saw the shooting scene in the airport as such in MW2...

However art/entertainment is constantly pushing boundaries, its part of what makes it successful... Not to mention the fact that the second anything pushes a boundary the DM over-hype it and create massive publicity...

Off the top of my head I can't think of anything shown in halfway 'realistic' games that hasn't happened somewhere in one form or another.
Someone somewhere is always going to be offended.
Might as well ban everything and go back to Pacman and Pong.
