Hitachi finance

Hello,

I did this and as with any other finance agreement a hard copy with the signature is required. I checked when the called me to scan a payslip over.

sorry about that.

Sorry to go off topic a bit - with the finance option can you pay back however much you like whenever you like before the 12/24 months are up?

Eg, could someone pay £500 one month, nothing the next, £100 the next etc. Does it matter when you pay within the length of the agreement or is there a set monthly repayment amount?

Thanks :)

I haven't tried to pay anything off yet, But as far as I understand it you can pay anything of at any time. Just when you pay the final amount off there will be an Admin fee of £29.

There is a defered payment date on the agreement that you have to have it all payed off by, if you dont it automatically goes into a 36 month plan, and then you will only be able to pay of the agreed amount for the rest of the term of the loan.

Hope that helps.

The only options where you can pay early, and not pay interest, are buy now pay in 6 or 12 months, not 12 or 24 months.

I had a nightmare experience with them at the start of this year. Ordered a new system on finance. Was accepted. They asked for proof of income.
So I posted it all to them. Got a confirmation letter 2 days later saying they'd contact me within 24 hours.
I left it around 5 working days. So sent an email asking how it was getting along. nothng.
2 days later. I called them, went to answering machine twice- so I left a message asking them to call back or email me.
A week later, I called again still got nothing, and sent a third email asking wtf was going on.
All-in-all, I waited about 2-3 weeks for them.

So I cancelled the order with OCUK, as I decided I didn't want to get financially involved with a company that I was unable to contact. And email Hitachi saying to scrap the order as I was displeased with their service.

A month later, they sent me an email saying they unfortunately declined my application for finance, with nothing else mentioned at all.

Edit, Last email i got from them prior to the "declined" was Fri, 14 Jan 2011 12:25:18 +0000
The decline email was sent
11/02/2011- Though they never included the date in this one, like they did with the first.

Woah My experience with them was nothing like that,

1st day made order 10pm,
2nd day posted agreement- 1 email saying they needed to talk to me, call made- 1 Payslip scanned and sent via emai- finance agreed on same day- Items dispatched on same day.
3rd day items recieved.

All in all 1 extra day ontop of normal ordering process.

sorry to hear you had it so bad.

Can't complain. I left it a few months, saved up more money- got a credit card, and a sweeter system. So it worked out fine in then end.

I can confirm you can infact fax the agreement to them if you wish. You can get the number from their customer service.

I phoned them today and they said they need a copy of my payslip, could anyone tell me where to send it please as I didn't ask because I was originally going to send them the payslip in the post and I have changed my mind as that will take too long. Cheers for any help!
