Had to carry someone's index finger in a plastic bag

Chap caught his finger in a crane sheave block yesterday. No chance of sewing it back on as it was totally mangled. Not very nice at all. Now the incident investigation will drag on for weeks.

No punch line, finger ripped off at second joint. He stayed on the supply vessel and his glove and finger ended up on the jack-up work platform. I had to go and get the guy and his finger and get him on a helicopter.
