(same day as Duke) but it looks good & uses Steamworks in case you were wondering! Some of the explosions are amazing & it features the same destruction model as RFG where you can take a building apart girder by girder!

This one looks oddly like deadspace which has caught my attention. Its been on my steam wishlist for atleast half a year so far. Just hope it gets some good reviews

If the game turns out to be pap, would you please leave your OP how it is and just edit in your revised opinion underneath? We all make mistakes, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

I have to admit, I never got into the Red Faction saga. I got a couple of em with the THQ pack I bought when I first started buying things off Steam, played it for an hour or so and gave up. Damn thing would just keep spawning enemies over and over again without letting me patiently destroy things :(

Decent enough demo, too early to be sure though it does look like it will be more to my liking than the second. Thanks for the link. :)

Loved RF: Guerilla so will have to get this ordered!

The hammer is so much fun so using a mag gun will be pant wettingly awesome fun!

Just hope my pc will run this decently as the last one had an annoying habit of stuttering :/

Very hard to tell, been a long while since I played Guerilla, and first time using onlive so its hard to judge but, it felt wrong.

The buildings fell, less well, blow up a bit at the top which all exploded outwards, didn't touch the tower beneath it, then the tower just randomly falls on its own.

Graphically again hard to judge because of onlive, frankly it felt horrible and the FOV felt woeful to top it off, add the lag and the dodgeyness. Somehow I get the impression its dumbed down from Guerilla, worse physics, the guys attacking me did nothing and were insanely stupid.

First impression of onlive though, is horrible, wait to get into, laggy as crap, horrible res/graphics, ugh.

Guerilla while being a tad repetitive was seriously fun in parts and while not brilliant, well above the average game. Yeah the physics were rather dumb but it was satisfying to knock stuff down, especially in taking out a bunch of guys in the destruction.

So is this demo gonna be anywhere but OnLive?

Guerilla would've been fine if you didn't have to contend with infinite spawns of soldiers giving you no peace and quiet to actually demolish things.

I thought the second could have been quite a lot better if they had just turned off the respawning enemies, that was the worst part for me. It turned to be fun at times, though more of a rain day game, a quick blast and nothing more. Essentially a wild goose chase.
