I was wondering when steam would have another free weekend well here it is and it is for black ops. You can pre load it now.

Fair enough not buying it on release (or ever for that matter), but refusing to dl for free on principle is quite frankly, pretty childish.

Its blackops. It was the biggest flop of the year. comming from MW2 success and it FAILED hardcore, it gave what we wanted but badly. I'll stick wiht mw2 thanks

Hmmm didnt fail commercially though did it? Agree'd it wasnt very good but ut far from failed

It didn't fail 'hardcore', it didn't actually fail at all considering how much it sold.

It Failed?

I play this on the PS3. I probably won't bother downloading this just for a weekend. I've got too many games to play as it is without trying a different version of the same game

I wouldn't describe it as childish. He has his opinion just like yours. It's a third-rate, buggy, on-rails, badly thought-out, money-grubbing, re-hash-em-up for many people. For me, it's not worth the bandwidth or the time setting it up. This is an informed opinion, too: I've sunk 200 hours into it.

For PC, Black Ops is playable while MW2 is completely unplayable due to FOV and no servers. I still don't understand how anyone can actually play MW2 but each to their own I guess.

I have to ask the MW2 players, what's better in it? It's laggy and unplayable due to FOV but what are the pros?
