Put a deposit down on this last night, hopefully be picking it up within the next couple of days.

It's an early 04 on a 53 plate Mk2.5 Sport. It's the cleanest Mk2.5 I've been to view by a long long way, no rust at all anywhere, and for a 7 year old car it's pretty much immaculate bar a couple of very tiny scratches.

Best part is, it's on 70k and has a fully documented main dealer service history, every one on time with Mazda invoice numbers to back up and it's had cambelt/waterpump done at last service (63k).

Picked it up with 12 MOT and 6 Tax for a shade under £3800, which considering the condition I think is a fair price based on Auto Trader listings/Piston Heads/WhatCar/Parkers pricing!

Enjoy!

I like this! My girlfriend was looking at StreetKA's for this price and I was pushing her in this direction but she was unsure. Hopefully this will convince her otherwise :)

Do it, you'll end up driving it more than she does, I was really surprised how great they drive, even a really ropey one with no history and 100k drove like a new car

Lovely

These are my favourite shape MX5, glad it's not that dark green colour, they look vile

I reckon there are more MX5 owners on this forum than there are Mondeo owners.

Totally gay, but a good price and a nice looking car. Much prefer this shape to the Mk1.

Nice one, my fiancée has one of these in the same colour, lovely motor.

Very nice from the photos, im hoping to pick one up similar in the next couple of weeks... Just damn nearly dropped £14k on a mk3 but couldnt get on with the interior, much prefer the mk2.5 so ill save myself ~£10k :)

Looks like a cracking car for a very nice price. I'd have one myself by now if it wasn't for the gf's preference for holidays as a way of soaking up our spare cash :(

surely 14k is mk3.5 folding hard top money?

Yup, it was... Folding hardtop was my main requirement, but, the plasticy awful interior put me right off... Until i borrowed my Hairdresser :( sisters mk2.5 icon, and made the compromise of sorting somewhere to store the removable hardtop.
