Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Yeah but it freed the game a lot more. With only 7 kills it was so much faster as not many people camped it out.

As said before by alrik though he got accused of hacking because he used sit rep pro. I find this just as good as a uav as you can hear them and what direction they are coming from. All you have to do is sit and wait which is exactly what people do on a UAV

Not on open maps like Firing Range you don't. If somebody has the chopper gunner on that level it's stupidly easy spawn kill.
*edit* that was in response to Alriks post a few posts back!
I have no problem with Death Streaks. I quite liked killing somebody who was using the witch class with my martydom grenade :D

Then switch to Ghost and shoot it down! the pistols in Blops suck balls anyway so you have no excuse not having a launcher on your back also a chopper gunner can be shot down before the door even opens on it.

What? You can fire one off before the door opens but reloading will delay you. Also, Ghost isn't going to help you unless it's Ghost pro.

The fact is I dont think many people would complain if it went back to the good old COD 4 days with 3, 5, 7.

Them killstreaks were good and useful to. I would be pleased for it to go back to these

Yep there were UAV's in COD 4 and it was the fastest paced running shooter of the lot of them.

MW2 wasn't a million miles away from being very good, they just never fixed the exploits like OMA and resupply fast enough and all the other issues of balance. They made a game for campers, it will always happen when you stack that many powerfull killstreaks where people care about KD.

Knock off the KD ratio and or add a crysis style tag system.

Give 50xp for a kill and 1000xp for a capture of an objective in objective games.

In FFA and team death match up the XP for kills.

If I made the game you also wouldn't be able to fire a sniper rifle at all until fully sighted. The secondary weapon is for running and gunning.

3,5,7 was perfect for me, non stacking. Cod needs to go back to a format closer to 4 where the gun was mor eimportant than it was in MW2.

Like the objective idea but loads of people would be crying about the sniper rifle like they did in black ops because you couldnt snipe as easy as in mw2 , if i use a sniper it is normally as it is intended to be used because i aint good at QS but people can play the game the way they like seeing as it is only a game .

Using that theory they should have left the other chimped weapons with exploits alone as well. My nephew is absolutely awesome at quick scoping, it seems to be inbred in these kids. He never needs to use any other weapon because he dropping people 1v1 in close quarters or at distance. I've seen him QS on highrise while dropping down from the oil tank on the roof.

There's something seriously messed up with the mechanics of a sniper rifle in a game when you can do that. Sniping shouldn't be easy, but it should be firing when sighted as you would if firing one. You shouldn't be ruinning around a map like vacant QSing. I have no problem with sniping as it used to be, even someone camping to protect an area with a sniper rifle. It should never beat an SMG or Assault rifle in close quarters.

I would prefer the sniper rifles as you said danny but i cant see them changing the game mechanics so more of the same in mw3 methinks .

If they don't change the mechanic they should severly alter the turn speed and run speed until you are sighted. I'd also make the LMGs hip fire only unless you are prone. It's stupid how fast people run and turn with an LMG, or a much slower sighting time if they insist on being able to sight an LMG standing up.

Stuff like the AUG shouldn't be an acceptable run and gun weapon.

I would like to see anyone stand up and fire a SAW while trying to look down the sights ;)

Totally agree with Danny about sniping. You should only be able to fire when scoped in BUT it should be a one shot kill anywhere in the upper body. I actually think they'll make sniping more like it is in Black Ops at they know QSing was a big problem in MW2. In fact, they should also make it so you can't fire a sniper when running. And I really couldn't care less if people didn't like it,they should learn to use guns properly.

A list of apparent killstreaks:
EMP Grenade: Temporarily takes out all area electronics

Littlebird: A tiny remote-controlled helicopter.

Precision Airstrike: Calls in an airstrike on a targeted area.

Stealth bomber: Calls in a B2 Spirit to carpet bomb along a line designated by the player.

Remote Turret: A remote controlled turret.

Directional UAV: A UAV that can be directed into areas to scan for enemies.

Remote Mortar: Direct a mortar team using a zoomable camera view of the map to call in strikes.

Airdrop Trap: A booby-trapped airdrop.

Ammo Resupply: An ammo reloading airdrop.

Escort Airdrop: A protected airdrop.

Specialist Strike Package: This one remains a mystery to us.

Although it was after that aritcle that Robert Bowling said a lot of false info is coming up about MW3. I hope the killstreaks are true as it'll stop people camping as much to get high killstreaks. Plus they seem more team orientated as opposed to something people use to get their kill count up.

Actually love the idea of it nearly going back to MW, jsut 3/5/7 killstreaks, was jsut more "fun" then.
