At work... how much do you suck up to your bosses?

I tend to ignore supervisors and pretty much any of the mid-level management, but I do suck up a bit to the higher-ups, mainly the overall manager. The logic being that it doesn't matter what the supervisors think, as long as THEIR bosses are happy with me.

So how about you? Do you brown-tongue much at work?

No, but unfortunately because I actually work hard and do my job properly, I get accused of "kissing arse" all the time. It's pathetic really. Just because I'm not a lazy scrote like the rest of them, suddenly I'm an arsekisser, and trying to get everyone in ****.

It's pathetic.

This. Theres a couple like that at my work too. Their a walking joke with most of the other staff. I would never sink that low.

I try. But then, I'm trying to avoid in-work drama as much as possible. Which unfortunately isn't exactly avoidable when I work twice as hard, at least, than the rest of the team combined and then get called an arsekisser.

There is nothing wrong with people who take pride in their work and do their fair share, but there is the people who take it way too far and try to be the hero lol. "Look how amazing I am boss, and my colleagues are useless scrotes"

This. Apparently wanting to be good at your job, regardless of whether its a crap job, is something to be ridiculed.
