no because all my friends are on consoles and im on the pc. I mostly play racing sims but i like the occasional FPS but i dont want to fork out the money for a xbox or ps3 just to play 1 or 2 games.

lol this is stupid they will find them selves losing money on the pc platform as you dont need a genuine copy to use alterIW and get all the map packs for free on alterIW as well

I stubbled across this as i wanted dedicated servers for my MW2 game and already had a paid copy downloaded it and instantly made the game 100x better there is no anti-cheat but with dedicated servers there is alwasy a host present and just kicks them lol much better system

It's never bothered me. I play COD 4 on the PC, MW2 and Black ops on the PS3. The only thing I'm keen to learn about MW3 is the pay-to-play plan.

We probably wont know for sure until pretty much launch date, wasnt it like two weeks before MW2 they dropped the IWNET bomb shell aswell?

On this plus side one man army and commando have been removed acording to his twitter feed.

LOL, that *******. I love how he's went from a PR monkey\Community Manager (for 360 only it seemed) to "Creative Strategist". Then again when you have a game that people are going to buy just because its a cod game you could have a Chimp be Creative Strategist and it would still sell well.

The only problem with this game is the price of it hardly ever drops and you have to either suck it up and pay full price to be disappointed or just pirate it to play the mediocre campaign.

I will probably buy it but it will never go on my favourites because it's hyped up too much and it gives you that feeling of disappointment that you always get (Recently Brink).

this is possibly a hoax and a big debate going on about it on steam

so all haters have a kitkat till its known fact

my take on it is they are not sure probably going to do a deal or not do a deal with a server company and working out the sales figures over server costs and so on.

which ever generates most profit will prolly happen

It only got announced for PC not having dedi's in MW2 because the info got leaked. They didn't plan on telling PC gamers, as they knew all the ones with common sense would cancel their pre-orders and never buy the game.

Obviously I would prefer to have dedicated servers BUT I did enjoy getting the play on the same team as my friends (MW2) instead of being chucked on the opposing team for 70% of games.

They should just mix both so we have the choice to have lets say 4-5 friends go into a lobby and match with other players. Just instead of it then picking a host it puts you in a dedicated server.

Others can use a server list
