No for a pillow I put clothes in the sleeping bag case and sleep on that.

The trick is to cut down on taking as much as possible. Pain in the backside having to carry all that camping malarky when you could be carrying crates of nice warm beer (urgh!)

Any ideas on the booze side of things. Its obviously going to get warm and the thought of drinking a warm can whilst being rough as a badger concerns me a bit!

Gas is banned from the majority of UK festivals now.

Only thing to add to what's already been said imo is earplugs. That said if I'm at a festival nowadays it's usually working so I need to get some sleep.

take tin foil.

it sounds like a crap suggestion but if it's sunny/hot you put it shiny side out all over your tent. this will reflect the heat from the sun to keep it really cool and keep the tent dark so you'll sleep SO MUCH better and can actually handle getting into your tent in the day if you need to.

you can also use it to make bongs
