Assassin's creed revelations (very good)

Assassins Creed, looked "alright" cinematic's were good but the game play looked samey.

That's because we "aren't" the target audience for some of these games. They're clearly console games.

I would point out they got rid of the always on DRM sometime last year. You just need to register the game online now.

Meh, depends on the mood. My point was, it's still a great game - with a thriving online PC community last i checked. A remake is completely pointless and just another way of milking it dry. I'm thankful Bungie isn't doing any more Halo any more.

Not that i've bought any games in about two years

I thought that was a different studio, part of Microsoft (since it's them who actually own the franchise)? As i remember one of Bungie's storywriters left to be part of it. As i say though, i've been out of the loop for quite a while.
