The Official E3 2011 thread

trackmania yawn

was good back in the day but lost interest 5 years ago

Maybe you did but for many many thousands of dedicated trackmania fans this is what we have been waiting for trackmania is one of the bigest racing games ever. And looks set to continue that way with Tm2, the franchise has some of the best most inovative ideas i have ever played and the community is one of the most hardcore ever even after five years the online servers are still going strong. Not many games come along that are this good nowadays and i for one can't wait till september.

Gamers have reactions of fighter pilots bodies of chain smokers, just think about it if you make them all fit and active they'll take over!

:D

I agree that games are blessings provided they are played at moderate amounts.

I have been playing video games for the last 22 years out of current 27 years:eek: and one thing I have noticed is that many games with intense action/movements require lots of good brain activity/coordination, attention to detail etc. This I believe is more powerful than sitting those numeracy and literacy tests.

The rapid changing visuals are more engaging for mind than boring stale paper numbers and words.:)

that mr caffine was so cringe i thought he would stop after the start when he relised none off the crowed was laughing :|

Yeah i stayed up past my bedtime to watch ooobisoft, I was pretty disappointed with what they had on show.

Was hoping they were going to go back to there roots with Ghost Recon but they are continuing down the future soldier root. I guess it's their niche but it's not gonna win back any players, COD have stolen their market now.

Also Farcry 3 = Crysis, been there.

There whole team seemed to be French, nothing against that at all but I guess they make games a certain way, one step behind.

Assassins Creed is the only license they have that people care about now.

Far from it going by the demo.

You loco?

You know the definition of insanity?

So it had some scripted events with lots of swearing!

If I didn't have to get in that chopper to escape and had an alternative that would be awesome but I bet thats the only way /script.

One step behind? Talk about generalisation. Grow up.

The entire internet was buzzing about Farcry 3, it was trending on Twitter for a bit. If it is Crysis again, I loved Crysis so I have no problems with it. If its more like Farcry 2, I liked FC2, so have no problems with it.

Is it me or is Gametrailers.com coverage completely ******* all over Gamespot?

Gamespot are done.

The live stream quality on Game trailers is near perfect, when you go full screen, it scales to a higher resolution feed. The pause and rewind features of live streams is superb. Is this handled server or client side?

If you've played Far Cry games, you would immediately identify it was Far Cry rather than Crysis.

I wish i wasn't grown up dude, could play games instead of work then :)

I think my opinion was valid one and I didn't display a immature attitude, I love Ubisoft don't get me wrong.

Rayman? did that look like a ground breaking platformer, maybe their whack-a-mole game, rocksmith has been done already (could be better tho).

I like them trying to build more of an online presence but I feel they are still one step behind there competitors with a lot of their games.

I disagree with you about it being a French thing. There are plenty of games other publishers release that are far behind Ubisoft, and aren't French.
