Ok well i currently have a Dell XPS 630I

i want to upgrade my stock parts and well i just keep seeing problems arising before the build.

At some point once im paid i will be ordering:

Memory:

Processor:

Motherboard:

now the thing is i didn't want to fork out for a new case but i think i may have to i currently have a Dell XPS 630 / 630i Dekstop Motherboard - PP150 / 0PP150 stock. But i am having trouble finding the size because if its a ATX then i wont need a new case as the cost starts to mount up as i have to get a new processor and new RAM.

Also will i need a new powersupply or will my stock H750E-01 be good enough?

What do you want to use your computer for? We may be able to give advice on the parts.

I can't see what the Crosshair IV (even at £125) will do for you that the 880GM-UD2H at £60 won't, and the 880GM is mATX, so that'd solve your problem.

You might find it easier to scrap the whole thing and just build a computer from scratch. Dell desktop PSUs are notoriously bad, and you can buy a new case for just £30 if you need to.

+1 starting from scratch may well save you time, money and preventing you from getting one major headache. If you do decide what want to start fresh then throw us a budget and what parts you need and we can spec something up for you :)

I think ill start from scratch then lol dont want a headache.

At the moment i use my computer for gaming mostly i already have 2 old graphics cards will do untill i can gather more money but my budget so far is currently 500 - 600£

Still going to need to know what the main purpose of the PC is. If you are gaming then the old GPUs, depending on how old, might be worth replacing. What are they exactly?
